Medical Evaluation for Underwriting Purpose

ExamOne 3072® provides timely, accurate paramedical services in the state of Minnesota. Additionally, we provide nationwide coverage through our affiliation with ExamOne®.

ExamOne 3072®, has been completing exams for almost 10 years. Since 1998 we have been examining in California, we have never marketed the industry "door to door". All of our clients, agents and agencies, have been referred to us from agents that have used us. No other company can say the same. The agents know us for our "catering" to the insurance companies' needs. We work with the companies to find what works for them. If your needs change, we change to provide the service you are looking for.

ExamOne 3072® is the only paramedical company that pays to have our exams sent overnight to us from our examiners. What does this mean to you? By noon of the day following a completed exam, your clients paperwork is in our office being checked for any errors, scanned onto a disc for archiving and mailed that same day at the post office to the agent or insurance companies' home office.

Our average turn around time, the time it takes to get to the agent, is 48 hours after the exam is completed. We have also found that there are times that an agent needs an exam, or copy, the same day it is completed or by the next afternoon. We have worked out a way to provide our agents with what sometimes seems "the impossible".

Paramedical Exam

Performed by certified medical personnel who have been approved to examine for your insurance company.  Please be prepared to provide your complete medical history including dates, problems, treatments, medications, outcomes, as well as names and addresses of all doctors consulted.  Exam includes height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and urine specimen collection.   If possible, avoid caffeine and tobacco for 2-3 hours prior to the exam.

Medical Exam

Same as a paramedical exam, but performed by a licensed physician and includes a basic medical exam.  Genital, rectal, and breast exams will not be performed on mobile examinations.  Takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.

Executive Exam

Examination performed by a licensed physician in the Physicians ExamOne offices.  Not completed on a mobile basis.

Blood Collection

Less than 1 oz. of blood will be drawn from a vein in the clients' arm.  A urine specimen will also be collected.   Fasting is recommended for 3-4 hours prior (water is OK) unless directed otherwise.   Do not fast if you are diabetic, pregnant, or have any other medical condition which would make fasting not recommended.  The insurance company determines which tests will be run, but in most cases includes an HIV (AIDS) test as well as a full blood/urine profile.  It generally includes a nicotine and drug screen as well.   Takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Dried Blood Spot

Same as blood collection above, but blood is taken from the fingertip by use of lancet.

Saliva Collection

A swab will be placed in your mouth for 2 minutes.  It tests for HIV and nicotine.

Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG)

This is a recording of the heart's electrical impulses and causes no discomfort.  Adhesive strips are placed on your arms, ankles, and chest.  Please avoid the use of lotions, oils, and skin creams.  Females should wear a bra (will be loosened but not removed), a blouse that unbuttons completely in the front, and should not wear pantyhose.  Takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Chest X-Ray

This service is not available on a mobile basis.   Arrangements will be made to have this test performed at an approved facility.   A representative from our office will contact you with specific instructions.

Treadmill EKG / Stress Test
